A&R/Project Manager - Lex Records

Biography:

Starting in Music PR working with up and coming rappers in London, I made the move to A&R scouting at XL alongside Imran Ahmed. With his move to In Real Life, he asked me to come with him and join him as one of the first employees of the AWAL backed label. After spending a year there, I joined Lex Records as an A&R/Project Manager as well as have worked as a Music Supervisor across advertising projects.

Personal Statement:

I think I would bring an artist forward mentality to the board. With artist relationships and their success at the forefront of everything I do, I have been able to garner precious relationships with artists and understand their mainframe when comes to releasing music with an independent label. I also spend my time helping artists outside the label as a labour of love, to ensure that education and knowledge are being shared to those who have no teams or experience within the music industry. This gives me a great insight in how we better can facilitate artists and their careers as well as their community.
