Personal Statement:

After graduating London Met University with a degree in Music & Media Management I have since built a 15+ years career in music as both an artist & entrepreneur. My experience spans pub deals, major collabs/ indie releases &, as a fully independent creator, owning 80% of my catalogue. This dual perspective fuels my passion & deep understanding of both the creative & business sides of our industry.

As a platinum selling artist & songwriter with over 300M streams, I’ve collaborated with international acts while navigating the realities of independence. Through my consultancy, Sounds Write, I now advise artists labels & managers on rights management, release strategy & campaign direction. Alongside consulting, I deliver workshops with charity & education providers to ensure aspiring professionals gain access to vital industry knowledge.

Earlier this year I was invited to serve as a trustee with Grounded Sounds charity, (now closing) broadening my experience in governance, community engagement & strategic oversight. I bring leadership, inclusivity & innovation, with a commitment to equity & fair treatment for all. My goal would be to use my lived experience, insight & passion for industry education to enhance AIM’s boards initiatives.
